RR Auction FAQ’s
Q: How do I Get Started?
A: Getting started in RR Auctions is easy:
1. Purchase Bids
Bids cost between $0.75 and $0.55 each depending on the bid pack chosen. The larger the bid pack, the lower the per-bid price.
2. Pick an auction
Auctions are constantly changing, and we offer a wide variety to choose from.
3. Bid on an item
Each time you bid on an item, one bid will be deducted from your account and the auction price will increase by $0.01. Note that once you place a bid, it is considered “used” and will not be returned to you.
4. Claim your winnings!
Go to the “Won Items” page and click the “claim” button. This will take you to the payment page where you can pay for your won item (plus shipping where applicable) with either AlertPay or your available balance in Ricochet Riches.
Q: Is there a limit to how many auctions I may bid on?
A: NO! As long as you have bids, you may place those bids on as many auctions as you like.
Q: Is there a limit to how many auctions I can win?
A: NO! You are free to win and claim as many auctions as you can.
Q: Do you allow “Auto-Bidding”?
A: No, we do not allow our members to set up auto-bids, as we feel creates an unfair playing field.
Q: What is a “Reserve Auction”?
A: Occasionally a large value item up for auction will have a reserve price set. This reserve price is the minimum amount for which the item may be sold.
If the bidding for the item doesn’t reach the price before the auction is over, the reserve has not been met and the auction will reset, starting again with the latest bid.
Reserve price auctions can be identified by an “R” next to the bid button. If you hover your mouse over the “R” you will see either”Reserve not met” if the current bid is less than the reserve price, or “Reserve met” if the current bid has met or exceeded the reserve price.
Q: Can I return an item I have won?
A: No, there are no returns or refunds on either bids or items won through the RR Auctions.
Q: Are there referral commissions in the RR Auction program?
A: Yes! Every time one of your referrals purchase bid packs, you will receive 10% of the purchased bids.
Example: If your referral buys 100 bids, you would receive 10 bids free.
Q: How do I promote RR Auctions?
A: RR Auctions is a members-only feature of Ricochet Riches. You can promote your Ricochet Riches referral link, and all referrals follow you in RR Auctions.
Q. Do I have to use the auction site to market my business in Ricochet Riches?
A. NO! You can purchase ad units as advertised, or you can even get an “advertising membership” by itself and just purchase advertising direct, at discounts.
Q. I’ve heard some auctions use BOTS to bring up the prices or help the reserve, does Ricochet Auctions do this?
A. NO! All bidding is done by members only and we have employed no bots to bring the auction prices up.
Q. I noticed when I bid the timer moves back 10 seconds, is that right?
A. YES! All bidding results in adding 10 seconds to the auction which makes it fair for everyone in the auction and helps with strategies for the bidders.
Q. Why can’t people get into Ricochet Auctions who are not members?
A. Ricochet Auctions is a member based auction site only. To join in on the auctions, one must first join Ricochet Riches as a “FREE” member.
Q. What makes Ricochet Auctions different from all the other penny auction sites?
A. As you can see, we offer auctions for various advertising packages – and now and then will put up other items such as electronics for auction. Also, as noted, we add FREE BIDS to our members bidding account who’ve had referrals purchase bid packages either by AlertPay or their RR Available Account Balance. This is unheard of in the Penny Auction World!
